With this Quartet in C of Beethovenian stature, the Pražák Quartet achieves their cycle of the five last scores composed for string quartet by a fully mature Dvorák. They add to this programme the ‘Cypress’, twelve romances transcribed for string quartet forming a garland of youth love songs.
